Computer Services Center
The center is located in the second floor of the student union and it has more than 50 computer work stations connected to the interned FOR STUDENTS to use. It also provides a printer and a scanner to use.
SJSU Writing Center
The SJSU Writing Center is located in Room 126 in Clark Hall. It is to assist ALL students at ALL levels within ALL disciplines to become better writers. They offer free drop-in and by appointment writing sessions as well as workshops and online tutorials.
King Library
An eight story building where you can study, rent books, rent movies, rent laptops and much more! Check out the helpful tutorials online on things like writing and more. Also, you can make an appointment with the engineering librarian to GET HELP on searching for anything you have in mind.
Career Center
Be sure to REGISTER for the Career Center. They have workshops on resumes, job interviewing skills, etc. They have large internship and full time job fairs and an online job database.
Learning Assistance Resource Center
The Learning Assistance Resource Center (LARC) assist students in developing their full academic potential and to MOTIVATE them to become self-directed learners. The center provides services, such as skills assessment, individual or group tutorials, subject advising, learning assistance, summer academic preparation and basic skills development.
Peer Mentor Center
The Peer Mentor Center is staffed with PEER MENTORS who help students manage university life, tackling problems that range from academic challenges to interpersonal struggles. Peer Mentors offer assistance to peers who feel a bit lost or simply need help mapping out the locations of campus resources.
Student Health Center
The health center IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS for drop in or by appointment care. You can have an regular check-up or go with a specific question. They also have a number of health and wellness workshops.
Counseling Services
There is a free counseling service FOR STUDENTS that handle the spectrum from depression, homesickness, stress, and academic study skills.
Associates Students Site
The Associated students site hosts a range of resources including child care, recreation facilities, PRINT SHOP, and public transportation passes (like VTA).
Disability Resource Center
SJSU's disability resource center is a free service to students to help them with their learning or other disabilities. If you suspect that you have a learning disability but have not been tested, they CAN HELP YOU start the process of understanding, assessing, and dealing with your difficulties.
