General Information:
Kikey Castillo began her professional acting career in Phoenix, AZ., where she starred in a national commercial with Sammy Sosa, one of baseballs premiered homerun sluggers.


Since moving to Los Angeles, Kikey has worked on a Universal Pictures feature film (Alpha Dog), award winning indie feature film (Paved With Good Intentions), short flms including an Audience Award winner (Chiles), television comedy series (Nick Cannon Presents: Sort Circuitz), national commercials (Chevy Malibu, Wal-Mart, McDonalds), on camera hosting (Latin Heat, Latino Bud), a national Wells Fargo print campaign, industrials, and even took to the stage working on many plays including the world premier of SISSY, which received rave reviews by LA WEEKLY and LA OPINION.


Originally, Kikey's eyes were set on being a CEO in the business world, but in college, local theater gave Kikey the acting bug and her new path took her to Hollywood. She works with award winning theater companies such as Casa 0101, Company of Angels, LATC and Ricardo Montalban. This experience has provided the foundation for her work in TV and film, helping land roles in movies such as Nick Cassavetes', Alpha Dog.

Kikey also finds time to give back to her community, she is the Spokesperson for ‘What’s In Your Lunch Box’ a non profit organization committed to providing children with Autism and their families in underserved communities with appropriate nutrition and education programs.

She also works with the Los Angeles Music & Art School, Much Love Animal Rescue, Young Storytellers, Young Theatreworks, and the 12th Annual Latino Book & Family Festival. It is Kikey's hope that people will see no matter what your background is, you can live the American dream and be anything you set your heart to be.


Family Background:
Kikey grew up in the rural town of Hermiston, Oregon. Her earliest memories were out in the fields picking everything from potatoes to asparagus to cherries. She's proud of her heritage as a migrant worker because it underscores her journey from day laborer to college graduate.


College Education:
BA in Communications from the University of Arizona
