Are you or your siblings the first in your family to attend college?: No

What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?: I was fortunate enough to have attended a great private high school, so I didn't face too many obstacles during my four years. My parents were very supportive and helped me throughout high school, which allowed me to escape obstacles many kids often face.

What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?: My goal is to graduate college with a degree that will allow me to have a successful career after college. By being at a small liberal arts college, I am able to get a well-rounded education in a variety of areas of study. This degree will allow me to find the area of study I am most interested in and get a job after graduation that I will not only love but be successful at.

What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?: I think the most important thing is to stay motivated and think about life after graduation. In the end, getting a great education is the best thing anyone can do. Finding the subject or area that is most interesting to you is also a key factor. Once you've find your passion it is much easier to stay motivated and be successful.
