- What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?
- The biggest challenges I faced in high school were, time management, fitting in, and learning who I was. I overcame time management by prioritizing. I looked at all the extra curricular activities I was in and prioritized those. Then I looked at my classes and had to ask myself how well I could handle my classes and my activities and to what extent could I afford to do everything I wanted without sacrificing my grades. By doing this I successfully organized myself. I overcame the obstacle of learning who I was by hanging out with different crowds. By learning who were the people whom I like best to be around and the similarities we had in extra curricular activities I learned who I was and I had my own group than I fit in with.
- What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?
- I want to attain my bachelors degree in Aviation. In addition I want to minor in either business or Mexican-American studies. Furthermore I want to become a pilot through my university's aviation program.
- What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?
- My advice would be to learn who you are, know what you want to do and then have a plan to achieve it. Finally one must remember to persevere because through college you will hopefully achieve one of your life's dream and it will not come easy.
