What kind of member are you?: High School Student

High School Education (Name of School, Graduation Year): Los Altos High School

Are you or your siblings the first in your family to attend college?: Yes

What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?: The biggest challenges I had to face was managing my time and keeping my grades up. I had to help my mom with my niece and plus help her because she has a disease. I had to learn managing my time because I had eight classes, Marching Band shows, and helping at home. All of this things going on made it hard to keep my grades up. I used my calendar to help manage my time and any free time I had to use it for homework.

What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?: My goal is to go to a good four year college or private college and graduate. I'm still thinking on what to major on. I'm thinking to major in Astronomy and physics and become an Astronomer. To achieve this goal I will work hard in school.

What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?: To work hard and get involved in school activities,clubs,sports. To save some money for college and study for the SAT or ACT.
