- What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?
- The biggest challenge I faced during high school was gathering all the information that I needed in order to attend a four-year university. As an undocumented student at that time, my resources were counted. It was very difficult because my family didn't know how to help me with the process so I was on my own. I was able to accomplish that goal and now I am where I always wanted to be.
- What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?
- My educational goals are to become a college professor and teach Spanish. I am also interested in being an interpreter in a court or a hospital. I am open to both paths.
- What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?
- Don't let others tell you that you can be or do what you want in life. Even when obstacles may seen impossible to beat, keep going and stay strong, but more importantly, stay OPTIMISTIC! You can do it!
