What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?
The biggest challenges is finding the major that suites to my interest. I have been looking for by asking questions and recommendations from my parents, my teachers, and importantly myself. Eventually, I found it. Currently, I have been pursuing double majors at San Jose State University included mathematics and computer science.
What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?
My educational goals is getting and bachelor degree in both majors that I pursue at San Jose State University, and try to look for a scholarship for the graduate program in next 2 years at one of the California of Universities. In order to reach those goals, I have to study hard to maintain a good GPA for the undergraduate program and focus more specifically on the area at which I am very good.
What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?
- Trying to focus on the area that you are very strong at.
- Coming to class and doing homework regularly.
- Trying to read as much as possible to get more advances from basic knowledge that you learn from school.
- Coming to teachers' official hours to ask for help.
