When are we having our fieldtrip to USC? I found out my friend's brother is a sophomore there the other day. You said if we know anyone at a university/college that goes there we should contact them.

- High School Student
- I am in the following academic program:

- Are you or your siblings the first in your family to attend college?
- Yes
- What are the biggest challenges you faced or are facing as a high school student? How did you overcome those obstacles?
- Adapting from a Central European nation to an American culture. I came from Hungary for half a year in first grade, however when I came back in 7th grade, it was very tough to get used to....well, everything really.
- What are your educational goals? What are you doing to reach those goals?
- I wish to study History in college because it can definitely connect across borders, as well as help us determine what to do in the future.
- What advice would you give others to be successful in high school and college?
- You don't have to necessarily torture yourself with the VERY HARDEST classes but do take the classes that are the approaching your limit. You yourself should know your limit.
- Who has helped you to achieve success throughout your school career?
- AVID. My parents of course pushed me to study but since they never studied in America, they had no idea how to get me to college.

This tricks do help. The way I remeber things is write things down on a calender by my door that way when I walk out I will see it. I also use my phone because you could add reminders to make sure you dont forget.
