Hi y’all! This is my first time blogging so I figured I’d tell you a little about myself to start. I am 20 years old and am currently a junior at UC Berkeley. I went to Pioneer High School in San Jose
after going to a private elementary and middle school. I grew up in San Jose until
I moved away to college so that transition to a different city was an
interesting experience. In high school, I was always the quiet studious kid who took all the AP classes and loved learning. But I really enjoyed high school and am loving college too. I love going to school at UC Berkeley – it is such a
diverse campus that offers a multitude of opportunities for students of any
background with any interests. I am a psychology major with a Spanish language minor.
My future goals are to get a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and become a
psychotherapist. However, before I decided on that I thought I was going to
major in political science and my dream was to work for the United Nations.
While I realized psychology is a better fit for me, because I wasn’t sure at
the beginning of my college career what I wanted to do, I have taken a variety
of classes that have given me insight into a lot of different fields. And that
is one of the best parts of college – you get to learn a little about
everything while pursuing your dreams and goals. So that’s just a bit about me,
feel free to ask me any questions!
