Did you know that our present circumstances is the result of the actions we have taken in the past? In other words, we are where we are today, because of what we did yesterday. Where we end up tomorrow depends highly on what we do today.
A habit is something that we do without much thought. Our subconscious mind reads it and we do it pretty much automatically. Some habits are good and some habits are bad for different aspects of our lives. Smoking and drinking are habits that can be harmful to our health for example, yet even when people know the facts, it is tough to break a bad habit.
Winning can also become a habit! Being successful is what we all desire, yet sometimes we fall under the spell that it is just not for us. We come across obstacles and this can make us turn away from reaching our goals, but in order to accomplish a big goal, you have to accomplish little goals too! These smaller goals will add up to that big goal and you will make success a habit along the way.
How can we make success a habit? In life, you have to be persistent to achieve what you want. Don't settle with mediocre results! Do the best you can do! Keep moving forward. It is said that the worst enemy of Excellence is "Good enough". If you think something can be better, then make it happen!
Finally, when your goals are too big for you to tackle on your own, find yourself a mentor. A mentor is someone who wants your success as well and will give you the guidance to get to where you want to get. Don't give up and keep reaching for the stars!
