Many high school Senior right now are waiting for the response from colleges that they apply for to see if they got accepted or not. Before they applied for to the schools of their choice they had to think about what they wanted to do and find a school that focused on the career they want to go for. As a middle school student you could start thinking about what you want to do and do some research. I know that many of middle schools don’t think about going to college but instead they are thinking on getting to high school. I know this because when I was in middle school all I thought about was getting to high school. Even though I didn’t think about going to college I was doing things that made graduating from high school easier or did things that help me find out what I wanted to be when I grew up.

                When I was in middle school my school had a program where you could take high school level classes and get credit. So before I started going to high school I had 20 credits because I had taken a math and Spanish class that were high school level. I used to attend presentations where professionals will talk about their job.  I even joined programs that will help me find careers that I might like by seeing what subjects I enjoyed. I didn’t think that will help at the time but now I see it did because I have a better idea on what kind of career I could go for. In middle school all I knew about myself was I liked helping people but I never knew there were careers that focus on that. So remember just start thinking about college even if you are in middle school because sooner or later you will have to think about it but it will be easier if you have a plan or an idea on what you want to do. It will also make graduating from high school easier because you will know what plan to follow to get to college instead of waiting until the last year. Also don't forget to get good grades because you will know what to do to get A's and B's in high school in college.
